Artist Profile

Anushua Sinha, also known as Shua, is an award-winning illustrator and designer specializing in storytelling for publishing, editorial, and advertising.

​

Her work combines bold visual narratives with cultural and environmental insight, often bringing complex ideas to life through approachable, character-driven illustration. With a background in architecture and an MFA in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design, she moves seamlessly between visual design, typography, and narrative art.

​

Anushua has collaborated with clients such as HarperCollins Publishers, Slate Magazine, Algorand Foundation, Ziva Zerowaste, and Maritimus Magazine. Her illustration for Our Potpourri Planet (HarperCollins) and the Tadoba Tiger Reserve’s Zero Waste campaign reflects her commitment to art that informs, educates, and advocates.

She’s been recognized by 3x3 Magazine, Creative Quarterly, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, American Illustration, and the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles. An O-1 artist visa holder, she lives and works in the US with her partner and their husky, Luna.
